Accepting credit card payments with iNTELcart
iNTELcart allows you to use many of today's established names in online payment processing to collect the payment and to process your transactions in a secure, cost-effective, and reliable way for your clients.
When you use iNTELcart in shopping cart mode you can setup a payment system for your sales website that includes both offline and online payment methods.
If needed, you can use multiple payment systems at once, allowing your customers to use the payment system they feel more confortable with. All you have to do is download the appropriate update packs from iNTELcart website and to configure the payment systems in your application. Every payment system supported by iNTELcart comes with a setup manual that contains detailed setup instructions and practical examples. You need to have a merchant account with every payment systems you want to use.
Currently supported online payment gateways:
PayPal is integrated by default with iNTELcart scripts and you will receive it even if you requested another payment system. If you don't need PayPal, just deactivate it from application backend
Worldpay is largely accepted by vendors and customers all around the world and it is the preffered choice for many merchants because it allows payments in a large number of currencies. Select Junior method is available for use with iNTELcart shopping cart.
Authorize.Net is supported by iNTELcart scripts. SIM (Simple Integration Method) method is used to accept payments using Authorize.Net financial services.

Google Checkout - new to the market, this long-awaited payment solution from Google has it's own particularities and in the good tradition of Google tools, it's different from many other similar payment processing tools. Both merchants and online customers will find it attractive and easy to use. An iNTELcart implementation of Google Checkout will be available soon. The vendors wanting to use this solution will have a little bit of extra-work to do when they setup their websites but it might very well worth it because for the customers side Google Checkout is really easy to use.

If you want to accept online payments...
You can use iNTELcart with virtually any 3rd party payment processor. If you want to use a payment system not listed here, please contact us and ask about the possibility of integrating it with iNTELcart shopping cart. We recommend you use a well-known payment system that you and your clients know it's safe to use and reliable.
For security reasons, current iNTELcart version does not provide support for on-site credit card processing. iNTELcart was designed to make life easier for web merchants by protecting customer's sensitive financial data. This is why iNTELcart is compatible with most of the major 3rd party payment processors available out there. However, shop owners who want to process the credit card payments by themselves, there is a payment module supported by iNTELcart scripts who allows them to collect the credit card data securely.

You don't have to take care of all the security aspects surrounding online payments. This is what online payment processing systems do every day and they do it right.
Your clients most probabbly heard from other websites about the payment processor you intend to use and they are already familiar with it's characteristics.
you can choose your favorite payment processor and bennefit from their good reputation to gain your client's confidence. Web merchants know very well that pushing an "add to cart" button is only half the way to order completion. The other half of the process demands a big amount of confidence from your web customers.
What's the cost of using a payment processor?
Depending on the payment processor you choose, you will have to pay a certain fee for every processed transaction. The fee policy is different from one payment processor to another and you should choose the one that best suites you. Some services will charge you a fee when opeing your merchant account, others will not. Some payment gateways will require a monthly payment, others only a percentage of your transactions. You will have to choose them wisely.
If you don't want to accept online payments...
You can always turn off online payments and still be able to use the shopping cart feature. Your customers will still be able to add products to their shopping carts. After order confirmation they will arrive to a page in your web site explaining the steps they have to follow to receive their ordered products.
